Saltgrass Steak House

"Went to get curbside and they assured me after an hour wait my food would not be cold. That was a joke. Called the manager and he then asked for me to bring it back. Explained they are not right next door to me and offered no other solutions at all. Thank you Saltgrass for screwing my anniversary up. Never again will I visit or order from this place. Save yourself some time and energy just go across the street to long horn. I could go on but I see no point as this will fall of deaf ears."

"This was our first time to Saltgrass in Lafayette. We went as a party of 4. Arriving there, it was a bit hectic due to the place being very busy. We had a reservation for a specific time. We arrived early, so we grabbed drinks at the bar and waited. At our reservation time, we were seated promptly. I highly recommend getting a reservation because the wait can be long it appeared. Trina was our server for our table. She was fantastic. She was very attentive and made sure our food/drinks came out promptly. She even made us laugh with some of her conversations, so she was very pleasant to have as a server. Our appetizers arrived in perfect harmony with the timing of our entrees. We had fried pickles and cheese dip for our appetizers. They were both fantastic. For entrees, we had the Chicken Laredo and sirloin steak. Both were perfect cooked and seasoned well. I'll definitely order those again next time I'm eating here. Overall, great atmosphere, fabulous staff, and fantastic food. Highly recommended to try out!"

"My wife and I chose this restaurant for her birthday after not being there in a while. We were seated right away. I ordered a draft beer and she ordered a mixed drink. She received her drink right away but my beer took 30 minutes because they had to tap a keg. No problem we weren't in a hurry. Well we ordered and received our salads in a timely manner. Over an hour later another waitress walked over to inform us the kitchen lost our order and she would retake it. We placed our order again. It took another 45 minutes to get our food and the steaks were so cold the butter on top would not melt. The manager was all over the restaurant but never once stopped at our table to check on things. We witnessed the manager fussing at the hostess and another waitress in the middle of the restaurant. They all seemed tense and it was an uncomfortable atmosphere."

"We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The atmosphere was very comfortable and inviting. I ordered my steak Pittsburgh style and it was perfect. The best part was how lucky we were to have a server named Taylor. I think her last name started with a V. She was bubbly and effervescent. I think she said it was her second or third week but you definitely could not tell it. It added to an overall wonderful evening out."
