Waffle House

"My wife and I decided to have a meal before my music show nearby. We got greetings as we entered and we took a seat. Service came quickly and very professional. The food was great and the price was right! The music group I am with does shows in that area, and we will stop in again!"

"Usually this place is pretty good. Not sure what happened this time. One of the employees seemed a little aggravated when I walked in. Ordered two cheese omelets with hashbrowns (scattered covered), bacon (extra well done, almost burnt), and toast. Asked for extra grape jelly for the toast also. Ordered Angus 1/4 hamburger deluxe w/ hashbrowns and chocolate milk, and Texas pattymelt with hashbrowns. I know they were fairly busy, but it doesn't excuse the why the ball was dropped here. Once the order was brought to me, I noticed one of bacon orders was not as ordered (I could live with the other) so they cooked another order for me. I paid for the order, and went home. Finally made it back home to eat... the egg omelets were skimpy at best, and the scattered covered hashbrowns had onions in them. The grape jelly packs were watery. My daughter's "deluxe hamburger" came as a patty between two buns (NO Lettuce, Tomato &/or Grilled Onions that are supposed to come with it)."

"Went in with my two kids today, we were served by the prettiest waitress I have even seen at a Waffle House. This idiot didn’t ask for her number. Fool of a Took."

"Unpleasant and Horrible Experience. I visited this location with a simple breakfast request. None of the employees greeted me with a "Good Morning. Welcome to Waffle House" like the Opelousas location. That should have been my sign to walk out. The second thing that I noticed was the red sign telling you about ALL of the EXTRA things you will be charged for with a "To Go Order". They automatically make you pay a tip. You also have to pay for the "supplies" that you are given for your take out order. Seriously???? Should I bring my own plate and utensils so that you can put my food in. I asked for a to go spoon to eat my grits, however, they have NO SPOONS!!!!!!!! WHO EATS GRITS WITH A FORK????? The fork utensil packet was unsanitary. It was covered with syrup. So they charged me for nasty utensils. The grits had chunks of uncooked hard grits inside. I guess I needed the knife and fork to cut the hard grits. This Waffle House is more expensive than any other Waffle House that I've ordered from. Why do y'all charge so much more?? Although this is a new Waffle House, Please run the other way. Horrible service all around."

"Decided to go Waffle House last night on 10/12 and was trying to place my order for pick up over the phone. Called 6 times, 2 times they picked up the phone and hung it up. Ended up just going and placing my order in the restaurant. They were somewhat busy, I wouldn’t say jam packed. As I was standing to place my order. Waited 10 minutes to try and place an order, I noticed the phone was off the hook. I guess this was to not hear the phone ringing. And the cordless phone was in the back because a lady worker came in and got it from the back and put it on the counter in the front. This is absolutely uncalled for and disrespectful. This is happening at this restaurant with an assistant store manager on duty?? Like that’s very uncalled for and I’m pretty sure that restaurant lost out on some money last night because of it. Do better."
