"Excellent dinner! I had the Tossed Salad, Boudin Stuffed Pork Chop, Veggie Skewer, and Banana Bread Pudding. Staff was friendly and proficient and the restaurant had a fun atmosphere."

"10/10 would NOT recommend this place, ill start with the meal cost $89 with 2 drinks 1 appetizer and 2 entrees. That doesn’t include the tip. (The money wouldn’t matter if the food and experience merited) Pros: Waitress was nice and attentive. The crab dip was good and sadly the only bright spot of the Valentine’s Day visit we had. The side salad with vinaigrette dressing & the brussel sprout side order were also good. Cons: 1st plate - Sirloin was severely undercooked and cold when served (no exaggeration). Ordered medium “well” and steak was completely red and bleeding all the way through. Red hot mashed potato side was, not only a tiny portion but also cold, although they had great flavoring. 2nd plate - Prime rib was ordered to be medium “well” and came out very very rare and with a terrible road kill odor. Sent it back due to being inedible and it came out more medium rare but finally edible this time. The jalapeno cheese grits were a very small portion and also too cold to eat. Manager brought the prime rib back out and didn’t even offer an apology (or act as she even cared about the customers or our experience) but instead asked “is that a better temperature for you?” As if I were the one that was being difficult. This place might have potential but clearly from the manager to the cook they were having a terrible day and it carried over into us and the business that the owners are attempting to run."

"This is comfort food meets cuisine. The alligator bang bang (alligator bite lettuce wraps) could be on the menu at a NYC dinner club. Ditto the mashed sweet potato. Being touristy, I tried the boudin link, and found it rather ordinary, however. Not bad, just lacking in pizzazz. The seafood stuffed mushrooms were solidly middle of the road, slightly above comfort food level, but lacking the refined taste of a higher level of cuisine. Due my own lack of moderation, I wasn't able to attempt any of the dessert options that promise to be delectable. Erin G is a delightful server, and is the right mix of friendly, helpful, efficient and attentive to belong at a five star, white tablecloth establishment. They are lucky to have her waiting tables for them here."

"First of all, that not your grandma's Christmas cookie drink or whatever it was called is a drink of legends. Second of all everything else was awesome. We were just in town for the night, so we didn't hold back and ordered everything we thought we could eat and then a little more. The bill still felt extremely reasonable especially with the drinks and beers. This is five star dining and their prices aren't really even that much higher than a McDonald's meal if you don't go crazy like we did. Amazing experience and will return again happily if I find myself anywhere near the vicinity again (hopefully soon)"

"Walking in the atmosphere of this location is amazing. I love the style and how it sets the mood. They have a live band perform. The staff is knowledgeable about the food and give great recommendations. The food came out quickly. I overheard someone having an issue with their food next to us BUT the staff and the manager addressed the situation quickly and wonderfully. Our server checked in frequently. He offered to box our food up for us which was wonderful! Cons: The entree I had seemed small in portion to others. Honestly, it probably was the correct portion of food a person SHOULD eat. However, I was hoping for a little more then just a small sweet potato, shrimp, and one side (asparagus) for the price. So, I would suggest trying a different meal if you are looking for more food to eat haha. Or I wish they would add an extra scoop of the sweet potato or a second side. Pros: We ordered a bread pudding to go. The ice cream was phenomenal! I need to know what kind and brand it was."
