"This place was awesome. The food and service was exceptional!!"
"Food is delicious compared to Pedro's. The presentation is nice. The service is somewhat good. The waiter was working by himself. Waiting on, serving food, and checking on all tables by himself. He forgot about us for like 15 minutes after we ask for to go plates and the ticket, but I don't fault him. It's just a lot on one person. The rest of the workers were just sitting down otp."
"La Hacienda is the best Mexican food I tried! My friend and I are from a different state and they treated us with amazing service! It felt like they are family! I have ate three times here already and it never disappoints! The food quality is accurate and authentic!"
"A little gem that imports Mexico straight into opelousas louisiana here at La Hacienda…They’ve consistently served great food in Opelousas for ages now, the staff is the best, have been here for a long time, shout out to you Claudia, Capasa? Tried a lot of things off the menu and over time have locked in on El Tapatio, which is chicken fajita-ish blend with sausage bits and covered in queso. Steak ranchero is good and hot to, will take more pictures on our next trip. The Queso Blanca aka cheese dip, stellar arctic white cheese sauce. The salsa is great to, my only complaint is the chips could stand to have more seasoning, I’m always adding salt and pepper to give it some more pop. I don’t drink anymore but from what I’ve heard all the drinks are excellent if your into that kind of thing, apparently everyone else comes here for that, they’re known to pump out great drinks. Can’t remember exactly what it’s called but it was like a fried cheesecake dessert that we tried, get it, it’s worth a try. Basically, just because your in Opelousas, La doesn’t mean you can’t have a real taste of Mexico, the people on side of them could learn a lot if they just visited La Hacienda. Apparently the chain that I’m speaking about deliberately positioned themselves directly adjacent to them, the parking lot tells it all. La Hacienda will pack out at peak times, the other people???not so much… In case you couldn’t tell at this point I’m not a fan of the other restaurant next door, after several terrible trial runs with them, sure the building looks cooler, sure the parking lot is much, much bigger, sure it looks more like a good ole fashioned US of A authentic Mexican jumbo restaurant, but your stomach can’t tell what the place looks, your taste buds could care a less what it looks like. Thank me later when you end up sticking with the Og of Opelousas by choosing the better choice, La Hacienda. Your senses will thank me later for keeping you out of the one next door…when you get there, tell them Caleb sent you."
