"--NOTE-- Final Review pending outcome. Based on other good reviews and comments, and because of the latest information given, I'm trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. I want to be fair and either confirm or correct this review as will be rightfully deserved upon the outcome. I rarely give bad reviews, and would rather not give one at all if I were the only one who had a "one-off" bad experience (unless it was really bad as this appears to be). So if everyone else had a good experience then they deserve a chance to make things right. PENDING -1- My daughter's car was involved in an accident and it was supposed to be towed to our friend's repair shop. She got a notice from Jake's saying it's in their possession with a balance growing daily. So if they didn't tow it to the requested location THERE SHOULD BE $0 CHARGED and WE NEED TO REPORT IT STOLEN!!! ----- -2- Regardless of who's paying for it we should have the option to pay to have it towed wherever we want. So, instead of you cheating us, you're committing Insurance Fraud??? Can you explain to me how that is ok??? -PENDING-"

"Our 31 foot Bertram came off the trailer in an accident this past Saturday. The Jakes Recovery team of Chuck, Clint and Cheewee came to our rescue. Their operation was one of the most impressive I have ever seen. I truly appreciated the way they cared for our boat like it was their own."

"I highly recommend Jake’s towing. I was stuck right off the Houma Boutte exit with a flat tire. I called my insurance the sheriffs department and troop b. None of them showed up even after stating they were on their way. I saw their sign and desperately needed their help I had been stuck there already for 3 hours on the side of the road with my 4 small children. I was having issues with my jack. Clint sent someone out to help me. I can’t say enough wonderful things about the way they treated me, the urgency to help, and even the price.
