"Great brunch and cocktail menu. I really enjoyed the seafood omelette. I would have liked more crabmeat on top of it. Next time I'll get a side of toast with the omelette. The black cherry old fashioned was outstanding. We'll definitely eat here again"
"2/17/24 ~ We had the sweetest bartender this morning. We were torn between the Acadiana Benedict & the Cajun breakfast, she brought us a taster of the creamy seafood au gratin sauce to try. We settled for the best of both, we ordered the Acadiana Benedict with grits smothered in the creamy seafood au gratin. I had a Grapefruit Mimosa and he had the Award Winning Bloody. Later I ordered a Bloody with regular Tito’s Vodka, but added some Guiness to it, if you’ve not tried it, do it, you will thank me later. Remember never “Yuck, someone’s Yummmmm”!!!.. Again had great service, we love to sit at the bar and get to know their servers."
"We are in town visiting and stopped for lunch. The food hit the spot! My husband ot the catfish Acadian and I got shrimp and grits. The flavors were delicious! The service was outstanding and the owner even stopped by to chat with us. Highly recommend!"
"When “the Bill comes”… I tell it like it is. And unfortunately, nothing to see here. We had great expectations for this place, but were sorely disappointed. The staff was very nice and even though they were extremely busy, we were seated immediately. To our surprise, the place was Extremely Loud. We were seated in the front room next to a group that was literally screaming, laughing and yelling so loud the waitress could barely her us. They moved us back to the bar area… which honestly wasn’t much better. The service was fine, but everything else was extremely disappointing… The “Award winning” Bloody Mary had a weird twangy taste, the eggs were overcooked, grits were as runny as soup, biscuits were hard & crusty, only 1 small piece of crawfish in the seafood / crawfish topping and the “spicy” chicken had little to no spice or flavor at all. So, when “the Bill comes”… this was hardly worth the price!"
"I went here for brunch based on other reviews. The place was packed at about 1pm on a Sunday, as most places are after church. We were seated within 10 min and served drinks shortly after that. I had a Bloody Mary, eggs Benedict, hash, and French toast. The food was hot and delivered to the table at a reasonable time. (Service was great despite being very busy) I wasn't impressed with the food like I hope I would be. The French toast was the best thing I tried. The rest of the food was comparable to any brunch at a mid tier Hotel in New Orleans. I'll go back just to try out the dinner or lunch menu."
