Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

"Not the best family dinner. Went on a Friday night at 5pm and there were only a few tables being served so I thought our service would be better. However, the experience was less than desirable and definitely not worth the cost of a family of four. Waitress kept getting our order wrong. Comically, we ordered champagne and the manager came out to confused and not knowing what champagne was. I’ve been to a number of nice locations but this one is struggling."

"Only 3 stars… why? … My visits to pick up my to go orders are pleasant. Customer service is normally good, however it’s seems 8 out of ten times I am missing something. In this case it was the side of bacon I ordered..paid for it but did not receive it.. so do I go hop in the car in the cold and drive all the way back and ask for what was purchased and not given… I choose peace and just said this time I will post a review. I am not the first to complain about missing part of the order or no condiments , utensils… I enjoy the food and the smiling faces . But you all have to do better with the customer receiving the whole paid for order!"

"This was the worst meal I have ever gotten at a cracker barrel. The restaurant was not busy. First thing, we got our biscuits with no butter or jelly. They got cold waiting. We placed our order at 4:09. At 4:50 we received our food. The chicken fried steak was literally setting in grease. I sopped up the grease, then took a picture. The gravy was barely warm, congealed on the top. I did complain to the manager after I paid, just wanted him to know it was bad. But I think he already knew. He made it with my while, but I will not ever go back to that cracker barrel."

"Normally, you wait in line and then wait for your food at a Cracker Barrel. However, we were immediately seated and served here (very unusual). The waitress was great. But, I still think Cracker Barrel is overrated."

"Average at best… what used to be a warm quaint country restaurant has turned into an overcrowded loud restaurant with average food and service. I haven’t been in a while and decided to go for my old favorite… Mama’s pancake breakfast. It started with trying to maneuver through the over stuffed shelves and small walkways in the front retail area. I was seated and brought flat ware in a brown paper bag… the fork & knife were both not clean, so I requested another set. I ordered coffee “black”… which came with a saucer full of creamer and a spoon already placed in the coffee. Given the first set of flat ware was dirty, I was not too pleased with this presentation. I ordered the breakfast, which came out very promptly. Mama’s breakfast was not as I remembered. The eggs and sausage were over cooked. The pancakes were heavy & dry with a dollop of frozen butter on top. The server was ok, but seemed hurried. I never saw her again after she took my order and I was never offered a refill on my coffee. Cracker Barrel seems more interested in selling rocking chairs, gifts and gadgets than focusing on quality and service which made them a success in the past."
