"Kristen is awesome and has done a great job in reinvigorating the local favourite. As a Spanish Town home owner and resident for the last 7 years, I can confidently say the neighbourhood has let her down. Stubborn people who hate change and are too afraid to allow changes in fear of attracting the "wrong crowds." Liquor licenses are terrible. Why are wine and spirts on the same license? If so, would any of this be an issue? Probably. Best of luck and I'll continue being a patron, hopefully for many years."
"Love this place so much! Me and my co-worker stop in every morning on our break to enjoy hot coffee and the good atmosphere. Occasionally we’ll get the beignets or breakfast burritos. The staff is friendly and service is superior! Belli feels like home!"
"When I first walked in, I thought I was being pranked. Rip capitol grocery. At least the cat is still there. The grocery section in the back looked staged (it's clearly not meant to be a grocery anymore). Two boxes of kraft mac n cheese and some bananas on display for the vibes ✨️"
"Two words: FLABINGO! Every Tuesday evening, several people in the neighborhood and other friends converge on Belli to take advantage of Flabingo. This entails an absolutely sumptuous, juicy burger with crispy edges and a moist, delicious middle fully dressed on a buttery, crisped bun for only a 5 spot plus tax. This also gets you a Bingo card with dauber chips. Usually, after everyone has enjoyed their tasty burger ( and drinks, chips, candy, hot and fresh cookies, and more also available, if desired), the Blackout ⚫️ Bingo begins! It genuinely is relaxing to get off work, enjoy a tasty meal, and unwind with new friends who constantly poke fun and crack jokes and have a great time together. Several other menu options are also available, including a Roast Beef Poboy, Birria Tacos, and a Quesadilla, among other options I have yet to try because their burger is legitimately one of the best in Baton Rouge. Familiarly to most who have been here time and again, it is still also a light grocer with a small selection of fresh, good-looking produce and a few shelves of snacks and supplies. All the employees are hard working and friendly. The cook is undoubtedly a master at burgers. Be sure to leave a generous tip if you enjoy your food. Tell your friends and post on social media for a free sticker, and most importantly, swing by and visit a seriously awesome team of laid back neighbors making their corner of the city brighter, especially on Tuesdays (I've seen burgers sell out, don't wait!!!)."
"A vibrant gem in the heart of Spanishtown! Cozy couches and chairs, delicious sweets (including beignet bites!), tasty breakfast and lunch options, some grocery items, River Roads coffee, and the warmest and kindest owner and staff you will ever meet. A welcome new energy for the bones of the old Spanishtown grocery!"
