"The beignets are amazing! We were visiting and looking for a local spot. Found it through Google maps. Decided to check it out. The owner understands hospitality 100%. He brought our drinks and beignets to the table. He gave us extras! He played the piano for us and juggled!! Dessert and a show! He was very friendly and attentive. He even gave us instructions on how to heat up leftovers. It was one of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had. Completely recommend if you're looking for Louisiana experience."
"We were visiting from Houston did a Google search this place was close with good reviews. I agree the Beignets were absolutely delicious and each order made fresh. I will definitely return and my family that are in Baton Rouge, Plaquemine I will let them in on this quaint coffee shop. I will be back."

"Rue Beignet is a small, family-owned beignet shop in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, that serves up some of the best beignets I've ever had. The beignets are made fresh to order, and they are light, fluffy, and perfectly golden brown. The powdered sugar coating is generous but not overwhelming, and the beignets are still warm when they arrive at your table. I ordered a dozen beignets to share with my family, and they were all gone in minutes. The beignets are perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dessert. They are also a great snack to enjoy on the go. In addition to the beignets, Rue Beignet also offers a variety of coffee drinks, as well as other sweet treats, such as cinnamon rolls and chocolate chip cookies. I tried the chicory coffee, which was strong and flavorful. It was the perfect complement to the beignets. The service at Rue Beignet is friendly and efficient. The staff is always happy to answer questions and make recommendations. Overall, I highly recommend Rue Beignet to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic beignet experience."
"I don’t give out many 5 stars. Has to be over the top. I think I may have found one. Staff was very friendly (I’ll get to that). We didn’t wait long at all for our beignets. They even brought out the extra pieces of cooked dough from our order. They were delicious. We got some “fingers” for the kids. And we had the regular size. As for the owner. He was a hoot. He came out to entertain the kids with juggling. Then played a little tune on the piano. Was just a really nice guy. He has artwork from the locals posted in his place. Buy one of you find something you like!! We had a few fingers left and he told us how to reheat them and walked us to the door. Can’t wait to visit again!!"
