Tower of Pizza

"Pizza was horrible. I ordered half cheese/pepperoni. It was burnt and only 2 pieces of pepperoni on the other half. The taste was not good at all, tasted like burnt cardboard. I definitely would not waste your time here. This place is very run down , dark and the table was dirty when seated."

"Delicious authentic Italian pizza! The salad dressing is served already mixed into the salad. It was too much for me, next time I will order it on the side....maybe you should too!"

"We were second people in line at the opening of the store at 4pm. The waitress bypassed us and and took a 15 top and 4 other tables in front of us so we waited for over a hour before our food got here. There were two tables who came in after us that got there food and left before ours arrived. Horrible service the only thing good we experienced was the artichoke salad that was the highlight. I will not come here again and also would not recommend it unless your a local that comes here often they do not care about you or your money. There was not one apology for the excessive wait time given it was swept under the rug that they gave service to everyone but us and didnt care."

"A Metairie landmark. Hand tossed dough, fresh and tasty. Homemade salad with special recipe Italian dressing. The decor is a la 1960’s with paneled walls. Sometimes you just seek old time comfort and pleasant service. Tower of Pizza delivers on that!"

"when we arrived it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. apparently we lucked out and arrived during a less busy time. the pizza was fabulous. it's a little small in here so if you plan to eat olin make sure you plan for when you can get a table. update - consistency is a big issue. the first visit was absolutely fabulous. second visit was still good, but not as stand-out as the first. the third left a bit to be desired. the pizza, which is the main reason for going, was not at all like it previously was. it was too thick and overdone. we did ask about the difference and were told something about possible differences in dough rising time or something similar. unfortunate, as with this restaurants hours, it has to be a deliberate trip to come here, and without the consistency, that's just not happening. the spaghetti and meatballs are very good. the sauce is on the sweeter side, so if you need a more savory sauce, it may not work for you. the service is always great."
