"1st time eating here, and our last. His chimichanga had a regular tortilla, not grilled or fried, with soupy beans. I'm chicana, and was hoping for authentic, but instead we got chimi soup.. No need to offer a credit etc, we will not be back. My enchiladas were not any better, but my beans weren't as soupy."

"Food was absolutely wonderful. We had the fajitas and chili and rice. We also got some tamales, which are the real ones with shredded pork. It was amazing. This place is so clean and just beautiful inside. Checked out the Sports bar in the back it is amazing!!! Nicer than any sports bar we’ve seen in Lake charles or Lafayette. Cool Jerseys and Pictures on the wall! Great to finally find a restaurant so good in our area being that there are so many Mexican restaurants none can compare to this one. Thanks to the staff also were so nice!"

"We came for the first time yesterday. Staff was really friendly and food was great. Everything has a nice homemade flavor. Enchiladas were amazing (cheese, chicken and steak). The refried beans were some of the best I’ve had anywhere. Braxton was our server and he was awesome. Highly recommend!"

"The place has definitely improved since they first opened. The chips were crispy and fresh. The shrimp on my tacos were grilled and paired with a delicious creamy sauce—just the right amount of spice without being overwhelming. The fresh cilantro was the perfect complement. Unfortunately, my seganari frozen margarita lacked flavor and was a bit on the icy side. On the other hand, the original margarita on the rocks was the perfect traditional blend."
