"I had been going to this place for over 3 years. I don't live close by but I always felt it was worth the drive. I ordered a brand new tire for my rv. They put it on my rim and then we put it on our RV. We traveled about 50 miles on this new tire before we stopped for a break. As always, my husband inspected the rv before getting back on the road. That's when he noticed the brand new tire starting to separate. He was upset to see that this brand new tire that we spent close to $200 on was actually a used recapped tire. He immediately called the owner of QT and was told to bring it in. He would make it right. My husband brought the tire in and the owner wanted to give him half of what we paid for it. My husband refused to take less than what we paid. Who in their right mind is ok with spending nearly $200 on a tire and barely getting an hour out of it? He told my husband he would have to see how much the place he bought the tire from would reimburse him. For the next couple of months when we called about getting our money, he gave us the same excuse. I'm sorry but as a loyal paying customer, I don't care about what you're getting reimbursed from your distributor. Just give me my money back and deal with your distributor on your own. It's just terrible business ethics to not reimburse your customer. I stopped by several times because he told us he would give us our money back. Every single time it was much less than what we paid and I refused to take anything less. On my last stop, the owner commented "you're not getting all your money back on a used tire." I immediately spun around and approached him. "What do you consider as a used tire?" He replies "the fact that you used it?" I replied "are you serious!?!? I barely had an hour's use on it so that's still new in my book. If y'all would quit lying about these NEW tires you wouldn't have this problem. You sold me a USED recapped tire. You thought you could pull the wool over my eyes but I'm not stupid. That's shady business selling used tires and calling them new." He had no response. It took us several more weeks before he reimbursed us. He did not reimburse us the full amount. It was $30 short but I just wanted to be done with this God awful business. I ended up going to Good Year and buying 2 tires for my RV for the same price as his 1 tire. They have many hours and miles on them. They're still good!! I'm still blown away today that a business I trusted for so long was so shady. Stay away and go somewhere else that has a return policy. This place does not take care of its customers"
