"It took some time, but the hibachi was delish. Would recommend skipping the garlic noodles for either extra rice or extra veggies. And split a combo if you’re with somebody. Waaaaay cheaper and almost the same amount of food. We liked the steak and chicken. Itadakimasu! (I can’t spell it but the sentiment is there haha)"
"Steak was over cooked and tough. You do get plenty of food and it tasted good. (Edit) Went a 2nd time and waited at the door to be seated, and the host just ignored me."
"So I took a party of 11 to eat dinner. Sat down at the table and the waiter (manlio) came and took our drink and appetizer order. I ordered 3 appetizers and only got 2. The drinks came to the table except mine. Not a big deal at first. Sat for 30 minutes before I went to the cash register lady and asked her to see where my drink was. She gave me my drink but it was flat. The cook came out and started cooking ( still no 3rd appetizer) half way through the meal we asked the cook where the sushi roll was. The cook apologized for the server's lack of service and tried making it right by bringing out cheese cake. As a group we dropped $400.00. If you are a small town restaurant have good customer service in a timely manner. Family will not eat here again. Stay away and make the drive to Alexandria or Lake Charles."
"Absolutely loved this place! The waitress was so friendly and sweet. She was talkative and joked with our table which we really enjoyed. The cook was awesome. I can’t say good enough things about the food. The portions were large and I was able to take home half of my food for another meal. I loved the noodles! I got the chicken and shrimp combo (I took the pic before I had gotten the rest of my food) They also serve a great plum wine. Over all great experience, I will be back."
"The restaurant itself is kind of divided, one side with tables that can do hibachi and one side for sushi/sashimi. We only tried the side for sushi/sashimi and do want to try hibachi the next time. It looked like two chefs were at the small station handling sushi and sashimi. I have really high standards regarding sushi and sashimi- they were okay but not the best. Sushi rice was packed too much compared to the size of the fish. Sushi quality is something you would expect from an all you can eat. 4 pieces of sashimi or 3 sushi. Calamari rings were good, a little spicy kick in there. They were very well coated and super crunchy. Servers were super attentive and was there in a flash for services. I don't know if I saw more than 2 servers for the sushi side. Went again to sushi side, they have very good tempura, especially shrimp (emi tempura). Don katsu was ok, lots of pepper in between meat and fry layer l. Udon has more umami than I thought it would and it's a bit saltier than expected. There's pieces of salmon making the broth more flavorful."
