"If you are looking for a very secluded, quite and quaint RV park for your winter retreat you might want to check out Holly Park Marina & RV Park on the Texas side of Toledo Bend Reservoir in East Texas. The park is well maintained and closely monitored. We have been here for over 5 months and decided to stay until spring. It is very secluded in the deep piney woods of East Texas. The closest large towns are Lufkin and Natchitoches, Louisiana both of which are an hour to an hour 1/2 away. Hemphill, Texas (15miles) is where you will find your closest grocery store. Closest Walmart is 40 miles away in Many, Louisiana or Center, Texas. There are no chain restaurants closer than 40 miles but there are quite a few locally owned restaurants, diners and dives within a short drive. The community spirit in the area is endearing and brings back memories of simpler times. This family owned and operated RV park and marina definitely share their family spirit with the campers. Whether it be having a delicious breakfast sandwich and sharing a morning cup of coffee in the camp store or listening to local stories and folklore over a burger at lunch from their grill, they will make you feel like you are a long lost cousin. While you are in the area you can enjoy local festivals and food or maybe catch that Texas Football excitement at a local high school football game. For the holidays you can gather with your winter neighbors in the small area towns and enjoy their Christmas parades and lighting ceremonies. If you want more excitement travel over to Natchitoches, Louisiana and enjoy their Festival of Lights. Don't forget the fishing!! Toledo Bend is known for their big lunkers. "Lived here for almost a year. Nice RV spaces, wonderful, family owned and friendly people. Weather was great most of the time. Peaceful and beautiful location. Hotel and rental homes and mobile homes are just perfect for weekend (or longer) getaways. Ladies at the grill know how to cook up a delicious burger, too!"

"Friendly Owners. Family owned and operated. My first time to stay here in my RV and bring my boat. When I walked in the owners and some locals were all standing and sitting around visiting. as soon as I walked in the son jumped up came over very quickly, got me all checked in. and took me to my site. He gave me a choice and suggested the best one for my needs. I wanted to park the boat right behind my RV. was great. Will definitely like to come back here."

"I live this place. The lake is gorgeous. The people are kind and courteous. They make some really good handle grill food. They house we stayed in was huge and the deck was awesome. It even had another building right next too for gamers om with pool table and other tables for playing games."
