Allen's Burger Center

"Food was cold when we got it. The appetizer came out when the meals did. The sign shows their a pizza place and when we ordered pizza they said they were out. So kids got a pizza stick. They don't pay attention when placing your order."

"Allen's is a must do for lunch when you're willing to skip the Interstate and visit the home of the Legend of Boggy Creek. It's definitely worth veering off the highway. Our wonderful waitress, maybe the cook and owner too, I don't know, was astute and made great suggestions. The first party ordered regular fries and cheeseburger. The second party ordered Cajun fries and a cheeseburger. As the third party (me) was ready to order, Ms. Perfect Waitress paused. She eyed Party #1. "Did you want to change to Cajun fries?" Yes. Yes, he did want Cajun fries. She noted the look on his face, "Aw, I should have ordered Cajun fries." She caught the look and changed his order. Me, I ordered the cheeseburger too, but went for the tater tots. Burgers were large with fresh-fresh vegetables: lettuce, pickles, onions, and tomato. Atmosphere was a wee bit tired. Maybe that's a prerequisite for authentic, local roadside diner. Eat at Allen's."

"Ordered some lunch for the family. Expecting a good meal. The drive thru was extremely slow, but once I got home with the food I was missing fries from one meal. Also the hotdog as included was a absolute mess. A chili dog can't be drowned or the breads ruined. Really expected much better.."

"My partner and I were craving burgers for lunch and stopped here on our way down to LA when we couldn't find a McDs. We were bother very happy McDonald's wasn't in the cards; our burgers were delicious. I got a small single cheeseburger and he got a large double plain (forgot to take pics before we started eating)."
