"It is 2024 and you’re still only taking Cash and Check only ! You’re located on the town square the most trafficked area of town. Recently stopped by on a cross country trip and found some nice items and was excited about buying them. However upon getting to the register there was a small sign posted cash only and 2 unhappy and snooty attendants, why was this not posted on the door so I wouldn’t have wasted my time. Needless to say they missed out on a sale and left a bad taste I will bypass Carthage all together on future trips."
"Got five great shirts for only a little over $8. Everything was organized well, and it's easy to find clothes that will fit you. New favorite store."
"Very disappointed, been there a few times and everytime one of the older ladies always over charges me. At first I just ignored it, but today was just the last straw. My cost was $8.05 gave her $10.05 and she kept my change. I stood there waiting for my money and she just looked at me and said merry Christmas. I just looked at her and left. I really like supporting this ministry but I will never go there again. Just really sad."
"Happy this place exists. The prices are usually fair and it's enjoyable to shop there, bc you know you'll actually find some deals! Also, they support the library from sales so buying there puts the money right back into the town. Only thing I've ever noticed that's annoying is the "younger" lady who worked a weekend there was gossiping loudly. Besides that, love the volunteers and prices!"
