"Amazing food and service! Only 2 waitstaff tonight and we were given a heads up from Hannah as we came in the door. I can’t say enough how much we appreciated the honesty! The crew on duty handled it like a BOSS!!! If we waited longer than usual, we couldn’t even tell! Amazing job guys and gals and the food was on point too!!!"

"It has been a while since eating here and we're pleasantly surprised with the improvements in the foods! Now for the decor, outdated, faded, damaged, sparse, etc... The menus are typed, copied, and placed on top of the old, preprinted ones. Finally, the gift shop, would do better as a last chance sale. Items are dusty, dead, broken, expired, need I go on? Ultimately, the service and the tasty food are about all I can say make it worth the gas."

"Best catfish I have had in many years. Want to return again. Catfish Village in Waskom Texas next to I-20. Fried whole catfish or fillet.. Hushpuppies, fries, red beans, Cole slaw, tomato relish, sweet tea. They don't serve All You Can Eat any longer. These types of places were all over East Texas in the 1970s and 1980s. Love the actual building and landscaping. Interesting building, wooden walkways, the waterfall and it's setting next to a lake."

"Got lucky and arrived when it wasn't too busy. Good catfish. complimentary cole slaw, tasty beans and hush puppies with a butter spread. Sat me at a table with a nice view. Staff is friendly and helpful. Large parking area."
