"It was a beautiful, gorgeous, and awesome Park. I visited in the fall season so I could see all the fallen leaves on the ground. The weather was a little bit cold in my visit. Overall, it was a great experience"
"This park was clean and felt safe. The playground equipment was in good repair. It was somewhat crowded with schoolchildren… but it is a playground after all. The schoolchildren seemed well behaved and respectful. Bonus that there’s a library adjacent to the park."
"I have been going to Liberty Park since I was a kid. I grew up in Renton with my dad and my whole family. My Grandmother was Miss Renton back in the day. I would like to share some beautiful photos of the "local" nightlife being spun at Liberty Park/ King County library in downtown Renton, Washington. Aka- Spiderweb haven over the Cedar River."
"Liberty Park is a beautiful island of green in Renton. The West end has a long path above the river and a beautiful path next to the river. The landscaping is lovely and well planned. The East end has a long path with a play area for children and cement skate park area. You will be very pleased that you visited this park."
"New toy upgrade is AMAZING. Ground is fluffy with some give to it so it's more of a cushion for when kids fall. They have two main sections for two separate age groups and each section is themed. Younger kids section is "music" themed with musical interactions. Older kid section is "sports" themed with a obstacle course type set up. They even have a couple of things that I have never seen before. Such as a swaying boat type of toy that reminds me of the ship ride at Wild Waves that sways back and forth. They have a circular carousel type of toy that moves in a circle that's even fun for parents. Park was clean. In the past there has been shady looking homeless people in the park that live along the Cedar river that's next to the park. Today while there trying out the new toys there wasn't one single homeless person. So looks like the City of Renton is trying to clean up the park. Bathrooms were locked but I suppose that's because of homeless people abusing them. Overall great experience and new toys are top of the line. I grew up in the neighborhood across the street. When I was my kids current age there was just 2 swings, 1 slide and a parked old retired tractor that we could climb on. Makes me sound old but I sure wish I HAD toys like this to play on. Bring your kids!"
