Reviews of Off-Leash Dog Park
"I'm rating one of my experiences, which was some weirdo letting their dog try to attack my dog. Me and my wife had to fight their dog off while they laughed and said their dog was just playing. Actually, there has been a bad incident every time I have been here. I have seen fights and morons for dog owners each time. So no, I'll be finding a new dog park that's safer."
"The facility is satisfactory but the typical special humans frequent the area. My favorite being the “I don’t ever leash my dog” type. It’s an off leash dog park not an off leash parking lot. It’s off of a busy road and the adjacent to the transfer station. Nope.. I don’t care how good you think your recall is. Thankfully most of the 4 legged patrons are great."
"No shelter from the elements. Very few trees. Just big, open fields. Located by a dump. Has a garden nearby but it's not intended for dog walkers. I feel sadder after bringing my dog to this barren wasteland, but the dog likes it so we go once in a while."
"Great park, but could be a little better. Pros: • Lots of room for dogs to run around. • Separate large and small dog areas. • Multiple water stations on each side. • View of Mount Rainier if it's nice out. • Double-gated entrance/exit. • Picnic tables for seating. • Porta potty available in the parking lot. • Poop bags provided. Cons: • Not much shade on those really hot days. • Could use some landscaping; the grass is looking pretty rough and there's a lot of dirt and dust. • The smell wafting down from the dump is not-so-pleasant. • DO NOT LEAVE VALUABLES IN YOUR CAR. *I personally haven't had a problem with this, but I've seen cars in the parking lot with windows busted out quite often."
