"Neighbors' Park is one of my favorite places to hang out in my neighborhood ("8th and I1,"). It is a small park, but it is perfect for the folks in the neighborhood. The park boasts an active community garden where I have two plots, and a large playground on the upper portion, where the local kids are welcoming of everyone. The lower section is dog friendly but A LOT of owners do not pick up. Instead, they use our little park as a toilet. Overall, I give it five stars because it is perfect for stepping outside, watching your kids play and enjoying the weather. Park close 1/2 hour after sundown. I wouldn't suggest hanging out there at night. That neighborhood can be rough after dark, like most on Hilltop. During the day, keep an eye on your bags. I have had a big purse and a backpack stolen right out from underneath my nose in the daytime and I am not the only one. This is also true of People's and Wright parks."
"Include small areas to hang out with wind and shade. A nice community garden with a minimal fee. Playgrounds for kids. A basketball hoop for sports. A neighborhood decoration area during the winter holidays. Very cool and friendly! Come visit."
"Great little neighborhood park. Kids love it. Little kids play equipment and a bigger kids mini "ropes course" type thing. It has a decent community garden and it's usually not littered or crowded"
"Very nice and quiet community Park. Also I love the community gardens it also has a small playground area a couple of picnic tables. The trees provide a nice shaded area to sit in. Overall it is nice quiet park. Had a nice peaceful lunch made some sandwiches, cookies, chips and a good conversation with a couple of homeboys from the shelter. Made for a great day all together"
"It's small but very cute. Neighborhood garden to enjoy, small basketball area, two swings, a small slide, and big kid sized climbing equipment. No bathrooms."
