"Great little park for family with small children"
"Has a great loop to walk, even more so if you're a PokemonGo player. There is very little shade, so it's hot on sunny days. The kid's play toy is good sized and always a good time. About 50% of the time there are some drug activities and some unhoused people, so keep an eye open."
"This park is large with a nice track, toys, and an open field. It's right next to Safeway and even has a bridge to cross 1st ave. The bad part is its over run with homeless, drug deals, people stealing the park sign, and even a shooting or three a year. Do not go here after dark!"
"From homeless living here to druggies leaving thier needles laying by the swings, about 20% of the time I come here with my kid, are there other kids. This summer it seems to have gotten a little bit better. It could be a great park, with a little active police passing through and maybe some maintenance more than cleaning up the urine bottles left behind. Maybe someone could water the grass. Its honestly so dry here, i dont want to stay long when i do come here. If the atmosphere was better, i know a ton of people would come here more with thier kids."
"This is a nice park, I've ran there for quite a while. There's a basketball court, playground, trees, and an open field for activities. I know there are several events that transpire there during warm, dry months. The path itself doesn't always take water too well, and there's some sizable puddles on the south side. This is probably the most active park between 1st and Ambaum in the proximity to a grocery store, so there's a lot of trash that doesn't make it into the bins. That being said, the park is usually in pretty good shape with a manageable amount of litter. This park is not lit."
