"Cute little park in the Dalles Oregon. Bathrooms, picnic tables, and the view is amazing."
"Love the coast like feel of this gem of a park. You can walk on the paved trail that goes pass the Bargeway pub( stop in ,have lunch or cool off with a ice cold IPA ) the you continue going west and you'll see Google. There's a really cool bench where you can sit down facing East looking all the way down towards the Dam and Shilo Inn hotel. Looking West ,the mighty Columbia looks as if the barges are "drifting" "( automobile term) as they corner around mountains on route to pass thru Hood River, Cascade locks to Portland and finally spilling into the Pacific Ocean.bicyclists, skateboarders , walkers, joggers, and runners the paved trail ends at the Discovery Center. Clean restrooms , plenty of shady nooks and crannies perfect for that picnic,, soak up the rays or watch the beautiful surroundings of the Columbia gorge has to offer . I simply adore this pocket park and what it has to offer is priceless!"
"This park is very nice. It has restrooms though they are closed they do offer porta potties. And there is a lovely view of the Columbia River. The path that is connected to this little area travels approximately 3.7 miles West and North to the Discovery Center here in The Dalles and 4-5 miles east to the dam here in The Dalles."
"A little off the beaten path, but a very nice, and clean little park, with clean functioning restrooms."
"Great place to get out and enjoy the river, views and riverfront trail"
