Reviews
"Very nice that they did this, but no big deal worth going out of your way for."
"Wildwood, BLM park. This place is cool. On the Sandy River. Swimming access. Dogs on leash. Lots of picnic spots with metal box cookers. Paved pathways. Quiet. Go east from Portland, Oregon on highway 26. Watch on right, about 37 miles. Well kept. Nice. I go every year, more than once."
"This is a really neat thing. We saw some baby salmon while we were there. There is also a great walking trail that is paved that follows the river. This would be a great place for a family outing. To be able to spend time with nature. There are also places to have picnics along the trail with picnic tables and trash cans. We had a small cookout yesterday using our propane grill, it's was really nice. I highly recommend this place if you want a day out with nature and have a picnic."
"This is part of the Wildwood area between Sandy and Mt. Hood. The is a lot of easy trails for hiking and at least one that is a real challenge. It is a beautiful place we go there often."
"Pretty unique little viewing chamber on the Salmon River. The riverwalk is peaceful with nice paths, several picnic sites with BBQ grill and tables, also many clean and heated restrooms in the park which is adjacent to several hiking paths."
