"I really like this place. If you have a dog you probably have been here. I'm giving it a four star rating ONLY. What I'm trying to say is I would given this place 5STARS. But as I'm walking around I'm noticing a few Possible safety issues. Nothing life threatening, but at my height of 5'9", right at my eyeball height. But I also notice strange things a lot. Overall this place is huge. I would love to include saying specifically that this place has 3 HUGE UNHITCH DOG KENNELS. You walk through double gates so dogs don't get free in the park. Would love to walk the park to give you the mileage (should be in a map??) but don't have time. We're soaking up the Dog Park. I will contact Happy Valley city Parks and Recreation about safety deals. Thanks R.T."
"The day I went was labor day. There was a lot and a lot of kids. People were playing chess game, tennis ball, basketball, biking, skateboarding. There is restroom, place to barbecue and have picnic. There is also a small little creek flowing along the park. There was plenty of parking lot to park your car. It was wheelchair accessible."
"A little out of the way unless you live nearby, but definitely worth the drive. Very well maintained. I was particularly impressed by the many trash cans. Walk the perimeter or take the trails, it’s all good. Dog owners have the choice of 3 separately enclosed off leash areas: large, small, and one for all sizes."
"We love all of the different things to do at this park! My kids love both playgrounds, we like taking our dogs to the dog parks, walking around the path and checking out the duck ponds, and of course the splash pad! If you have little kids, the splash pad can get a little crowded with big groups of big kids though. And the ice cream truck is there constantly:)"
