"They were very kind and understanding to the Developmentally Disabled residents I work with. I really appreciated them at the Douglas County Fair. Thank you for making sure they had a great time!"
"Wasn’t thrilled about the rides they were not safe. Some of them were not shouldn’t have her been up and running. Some of them were not safe for older kids that I saw in the lights keep going out lines were too long. It’ll be nice to have newer machines, and more updated and more safe during procedures really disappointing with staff I was checking bags did not know what a peeping was That’s really sad and then asking my daughter what is for when she has emergency bracelet emergency necklace on stating what she’s allergic to in March on her back at the same time. Really disappointed with the whole price range of tickets really disappointing with the bracelet situation. I bought Recents off line and then they did not even go through. Then you guys shut it down the first day the thing opens , then my kids by bracelets and they can’t even write half of the rides they were shutting down, breaking an opening time for rides were really disappointing on Friday three then they shut down by 9 o’clock. There’s really disappointed to see how this festival is running their business first time going last time we’ll go not too thrilled about it. Little disappointed as much as money they put into it. .. I really would love to see you guys upgrade yourself make areas where there’s water spraying to help cool people down and it would be nice to see more areas with shade and I saw so many places shutting down power outages out through we bought stuff in peoples computers and stuff kept going out the businesses. It be nice for you guys to upgrade that park area. If you’re going to use it every year, upgrade your rides and drop the prices for this price I could’ve went to Portland Oregon to the waterfront park and pay 10 times cheaper and a 10 times more fun with more games and skating and food and more than what we had at the strawberry festival. Disappointing all the way around for the prices in the way, people were treating people not to friendly at all…. I think fireworks should’ve been off for nights just not one night. Traffic was terrible the next day specially coming through town and live in Oregon out to the Strawberry Festival. Traffic was backed up all the way through town was really disappointed after the strawberry shortcake and parade Saturday. It was a nightmare. Something needs to change town is growing bigger surprise people are not looking into finding ways to make this a lot better and more flexible and more affordable for families…"
"I don't know where to start honestly. The show is real nice hands down. From the owners to the employees it is a good, clean, and fun Carnival..... Family own and ran and together they make a magical midway of good food, nice rides and lots of games to play. So come out this summer and enjoy a day at Rainier Amusements."
"Worst fair experience I’ve had in years. Stood in line for 45 min to an hour for the Ferris wheel, and the minute we got to the front (literally next to get loaded in) they shut off the lights and told everyone they were done. There was no warning, no telling us they were going to shut it down, no nothing. Then we went to try and play a game- stood in line for another 45 minutes, the gal working was not friendly, and very obviously over her job. She was working alone, and the same balloon game the next booth over had 3 workers so I understand the frustration. when we finally got to the front we used all of our tickets for darts. We hit 7, and the toy we wanted was 8. However, Halfway through us playing darts, another group cut in front asking how many darts to get a pig toy. She said she would just scan the ticket twice and she would give it to them. (Without playing the game) We then asked for the fox toy, cause we had paid $25+ in tickets and only needed one more. She rolled her eyes and said “No, you needed 2 more” not only rude, but after ignoring us for another cutting group ((and basically just giving them a toy)) I have never been more frustrated leaving a fair. I’m normally not a Karen, but my feet hurt and I would give 0 stars if I could"
"They provide a very clean show, with rides and games for people of all ages. As a customer, my experience with Rainier was better than that of other places. The management and employees are friendly and helpful. As a former employee, this is a GREAT place to work if you want to travel for the summer, or gain some work experience for the future. You will learn customer service and other entry-level job skills such as cash handling, retail, food service, or mechanical/trade specific skills. You will learn how to work hard and how to problem solve. My only issue was how the management would promote underqualified individuals as supervisors, and seemed to have a very closed-doors approach towards employees. They really didn't seem to care about employee concerns, most of the management would hide in their air-conditioned trailers all day and ignore legitimate problems. Their business practices are outdated, but maybe that has changed... Overall, good company. They DO place a high emphasis on custometr safety!!! If they went public I would likely invest lol. Keep up the good work :)."
