"the thought of boarding my dog has scared me and in his 8 years of life he’s never been boarded, he’s gone everywhere with us and traveled the country but this christmas we had something come up and we couldn’t take him with us. i put in A LOT of time and effort researching and calling places within a 30 mile radius of me. no one was hitting the standards i was looking for except charlton kennels, such an amazing loving staff!!!! my dog ended up with some bad separation anxiety being away from us for the first time and rubbed his nose raw the staff kept me updated on him and did everything they could to make him comfortable and they treated his poor nose! i called everyday and emailed they never ounce seemed upset in the slightest on me constantly checking in! if i where to ever need to board my boy again it will be here. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!❤️ thank you charlton kennels for taking such good care of petey!"

"After we completed their paperwork where we specifically included that our dog is reactive and fearful when being bathed, Charlton Kennels got upset with us over the fact that our dog nipped at their groomer during a bath. I'm not sure how this was our fault when we gave them (on their own paperwork) and also not sure they they didn't take the normal precautions for bathing a fearful dog (such as a muzzle). It would be great if they protected their staff by reviewing their own required paperwork."
