"I was overwhelmed when I discovered this beautiful park driving by on hwy 30. I did happen to get there late in the day when the sun was low and the water was calm which reflected the abundant trees in all their Autumn glory surrounding the lake. I walked around the winding walkway and discovered another whole park with plenty of parking and covered eating areas. Lots of sporting fields as well. Well worth a visit any time of the year."
"It's a beautiful park with well maintained grounds. The groundskeeper was a little more attentive than I would have liked when I was packing up, I am a leave no trace person so I didn't feel that was nessesary, but he was friendly. The Geese are not agressive and the ducks are adorable. The trout is yummy."
"This review is for the disc golf course only. Nicely manicured with a great variety of shots. You can definitely score on this course if you're an accurate player. A couple holes to bomb but for the most part putting and accuracy is paramount here. The water is not as bad as some say. You're more likely to kick off a tree into the water as opposed to throw it in there. There's many pedestrians oblivious to disc golfers. The baskets are weak and spit out frequently. Lastly 5 holes play right along the highway and the traffic is very loud."
"A beautiful and quiet lake park. It was one of the hottest days when I visited this park and it had enough shade from the trees and cool breeze from the waters gave me the relief. They have dog park too. You can even bring your stuff for a picnic too."
"A great place to find some quiet time if that's what you're looking for, or do a little fishing. A wide variety of water fowl and other birds are active all the time. Picnic sites with well maintained restrooms are available, as well as sites that include covered cooking areas for large gatherings. The grounds are very well maintained with paved walking paths."
