Reviews of Interurban Suites Hotel - Tukwila
"We lived here twice the first time when we first moved here. Found out the lady running it was stealing our payments and deposits, telling owners we weren't paying. She was charged with embezzlement. We moved out. Years later, we moved back in. Everything was all good for over a year, then new management. We moved our a month later."
"We had a newly remodeled room.. nice new appliances. Maid service was awesome... can't say I really think price wad good though.. stayed 3 nights and should get some kind of special rate.. never got price we booked for $91 a night.. also have a friend of mine staying there more on a long term basis and a little over $2000 a month ain't right and he is in older room not remodeled.. also I think if rooms have full kitchen they should have dishes and such to check out at front office."
"Clearly this place used to be an apartment complex, but has been turned into a nice hotel. It works well! We had two 2nd floor rooms, each a one-bedroom with a king bed, living room with flat sheen tv, balcony, and kitchenette. Everything seemed very clean, if a bit dated. All windows and balcony sliding doors were new and really lightened the place up. Bathroom was standard, still with small round toilets instead of more comfortable elongated versions, but again, all squeaky clean and nicely done. Extremely well priced for the amount of space you get. They also serve a nice continental breakfast in the morning. Very friendly staff at check-in! Felt safe and secure. Well done! Plenty of parking too! The whole place may have been from the 1960s (not totally sure) but they had some great vintage period furniture in the lobby. I kind of wish they'd carried that design & decor through to the rooms, but I'm probably in the minority who'd appreciate the aesthetic, but it could make for a really fun boutique hotel experience! All in all I'd stay here again. And kudos to the housekeeping staff! The place was spotless! You rock!"
"Decent for the most part and front desk woman was very nice and helpful. You'll definitely want a room on the upper floor cause the place is old so you can hear walking and talking above you. Could use some 'professional' maintenance and painting in the rooms and perhaps a talk with the maids about wiping down walls and doors in the bathrooms, ours had some strange smears of who knows what in it. All in all okay for a night or two. Beware though if you call the motel office and book your room through them, they will do it through Expedia..."
"The units were obviously dated, but for the size and the low price, it couldn't be beat. The room was clean, and the bed was comfy. We had quite a bit in the way of valuables that we kept in the room and didn't want housekeeping coming through. We placed a "Do not Disturb" sign on the door. Our request was honored. The staff was nice enough and helped out with anything we needed. The continental breakfast was pretty sad. Two types of cold cereal, bagels, yogurts, and hard-boiled eggs. The sitting room in the particular room we stayed in could use some additional lighting. There was only a lamp, no central overhead light fixture. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. If I needed to travel to the Seattle area again, I would stay here."
