"Visited on a weekday and stopped by the Crescent Lake Lodge in order to conduct this little over a mile hike through thick old forest to a beautiful waterfall hidden in the woods."

"This was a beautiful hike. For the shortest distance and best views make sure you turn left for the ranger station for the starting point. If your starting from the lodge you'll miss the tunnel that goes under hwy 101. The hike is 1.5 miles out and back from the ranger station and most of it is pretty easy. You'll cross 2 beautiful bridges before you have to get a serious grade upward. Then you get to the split in the trail, if you go left it's a slow and consistent grade to the top viewpoint of the falls. If you go right it's almost flat to the lower viewpoint of the falls, but then a short and steep upward grade to the upper viewpoint from there. I've passed the trail a few times and I'm happy I finally decided to stop today and check it out. Make sure if your traveling hwy 101 this is a must for anyone of any age. It's easy and well word the visit."

"Marymere Falls, what a truly gorgeous gem in the heart of the Olympic National Park's Lake Crescent region. The 1.8-mile out-and-back hike to these falls is a breeze, suitable for all ages. You have the convenience of parking either at the Storm King Ranger Station or Lake Crescent Lodge. The journey kicks off with a charming tunnel passage and a moderate ascent closer to the falls, nothing too strenuous. The experience is enriched by the enchanting nature stairs and two scenic bridge crossings over Barnes Creek and Falls Creek. The trail loop, with a left turn at the junction, leads you to both the lower and upper viewpoints of Marymere Falls, both offering picturesque vistas that will leave you in awe. Don't miss this beauty!"

"It's pretty flat most of the way. Once you cross the bridge, there are some stairs to get to the viewpoints. There's 2 viewpoints, first spot was easy, second spot there was some more stairs that were steep and I broke a sweat but not bad. Saw lots of little critters on the trail."
