Cecil Bacon Manor Bed and Breakfast

"Had to get away to do some writing for a weekend and this was the perfect Bed & Breakfast to do that! Super quiet & peaceful. Very comfortable with the friendliest folks. The bed was amazing (I slept like a baby) and the breakfast was outstanding (made to my dietary needs). Beautiful old Capitol Hill mansion in walking distance of everything. 10 out of 10. I will definitely be back."

"This B&B was wonderful. David is a very friendly and gracious host. It is in a nice neighborhood that is great for a stroll or some peace and quiet. It is also within walking distance of parks, restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores and other retail / service stores. We stayed in the Carriage Suite it was roomy and charming. The bathroom was uniquely designed but spacious. The bed was very comfortable, I usually don’t sleep well when we travel but I slept well. The couch was comfortable to lounge on. There were some very sweet artistic touches with the toilet paper, tissues, and paper towels that added an extra detail that made it feel regal. [Photo included.] The Carriage Suite has its own entrance, so it feels like your own little house, which I liked much better than a hotel. However, there are communal spaces in the main house if you want to stretch your legs or just want a change of scenery. There is also a courtyard with a fountain and tables and chairs to enjoy the fresh air. Breakfast was French toast, one of my favorites. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the experience. I have already raved about it to our friends and family. We will absolutely be back again and will refer the Cecil Bacon Manor Bed and Breakfast to others."

"Such a fabulous place. Old world charm and modern conveniences. Gas fireplaces, private bathrooms, Wifi and walk in showers. Wonderful breakfasts with a cappuccino. Location to downtown Seattle is perfect. Capital Hill is one of Seattle’s best neighborhoods. Will stay there whenever we visit."

"Everyone raves about this place and with good reason. We had never stayed in Seattle before this trip and honestly, couldn't have landed in a more perfect home. Which is exactly what it felt like - being at home. Super comfortable gathering places, David is super chill but totally on top of everything, the location is a perfect distance from parks, residential areas for walking, and great restaurants/grocery/coffee and Pike Place. The trees just outside the living room window were breathtaking and framed beautifully by the mullioned windows..the autumn colors just spectacular. Next time - and there will definitely be a next time - i'll opt for a brighter room. The Venetian was a bit dark for my preference (and I knew that going in from the photos!) but probably very cozy if that's what your vibe is."

"Such a lovely place! A gorgeous huge house wonderfully decorated and super unique. David was a wonderful host. We loved the breakfast in the morning getting to meet and chat with other guests. Really nice quiet neighbourhood as well that you can easily walk into central from or catch a bus!"
