Reviews of Allan Yorke Park
"Small play area but beautiful. The lake is gorgeous but over crowded in the summer time. Also this lake isn't easily accessible for those with any physical ailments the way they designed the lake entrance the stairs are super steep. The park is easy to watch your kids at and there's bathrooms only open during the season. There's a huge baseball field to utilize and right next door is a skate ramp park. Also a snack bar during the summer season with all kinds of goodies and drinks. We enjoy ourselves here."
"Beautiful park, great place for anything from a picnic to just sitting by the waterfront and enjoying the day. Playground and other courts are across the park for those wanting a friendly game or two."
"Been twice now on hot days plenty of parking .. life vest free to use if you need .. people need to stop stealing them also they could use more so if you have extra drop them off .. great swim area for kids NO LIFE GUARD ON DUTY PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR PEOPLE... Not too deep but swimmable for kids n adults . Picnic areas with benches but bring chairs in case they are being used... Lots of shade . Canoe and paddle board rentals... Park n skate park across street. Bball courts softball/baseball field tennis courts lots to do. Boat landing. Security guards... Nice little spot to take the kids and dogs . Mine swims in the area along with the kids...."
"I came here to watch my niece at her softball practice and really enjoyed our visit. The grass is well cared for with plenty of extra space for littles who aren’t quite old enough for organized sports. My son loved the playground with balance toys, digging toys, and your normal play structure. The bathroom has a nice mural on the outside but we didn’t go inside. The snack shop has excellent ice cream options and my sister in law enjoys the nachos. My nephew loves to play at the skatepark too."
