Reviews
"By far the most beautiful and unique floral arrangements!"
"The owner is a sweetheart. The flowers were spectacular."
"Very cute shop, but the staff is not very friendly. After spending years in the customer service business, I don't understand why it is so difficult to greet someone when they come through the door. It's the easiest thing to do and makes the customer feel welcome. I've given them several tries, and every single time I have been completely ignored. My 80-year-old father came with me one day and when we left, he actually mentioned how unfriendly the staff was. It's a very small space and we were the only customers there and not one word was exchanged between us and the person behind the counter. It's really too bad because I would like to give them my business, but not when I feel as though they don't want it."
"Ordered a nice arrangement for a special anniversary dinner the next day. Paid for delivery to the restaurant for a surprise. Arranged with the restaurant to have them on the table. Showed up- no flowers. Fleurese had completely forgotten my order. Unbelievable."
"My girlfriend loves this business - which is why I went here to buy her flowers recently. The experience I had was a bit of turn off however. I'm willing to entertain the possibility that the salesperson/florist was having an off day. Nevertheless, I felt unwelcomed to say the least. I bought $22 worth of flowers, but at no time did the salesperson engage me in conversation about what the flowers were, if I'd like to embellish them in anyway, what occasion I was buying them for etc. As a business who assumes the identity as an especially artisinal flower boutique, I would assume these would be standard questions. I accept that what I'm about to say is probably speculative and projecting on my part: but I'm a guy, I was in my blue collar work uniform - whether it was intentional or not, I felt a little "classed" and as if attending to me in the typical fashion wasn't necessary. Again, this could be more on my part, but the feeling was real and that's all I have to go off of. Aesthetically, Fleurae is doing a great job. But when it comes to connecting with all layers of the community, they're capable of doing better."
