"Beautiful views just not a lot of space"
"This “beach” is literally the space between the two private property signs circled in red there. Good illustration of the very strong private property culture of Orcas Island. There are really only three public access beaches on the island and they are all small."
"Small stretch of beach at the end of the road is one of the few public beaches on Orcas Island, where the vast majority of the many miles of beaches are privately owned. Decent amount of parking, including handicapped. Popular spot for launching kayaks. Sucia Island is due north and plainly visible, as is Patos Island to the northwest; Waldron Island is visible to the west. Mt. Baker can be seen to the east on a clear day, and the lights of Bellingham and Vancouver, BC are visible at night. Visitors will find more or less walkable pebble beach area depending on whether the tide is low or high."
"Great place for public beach access on the North Shore. Beautiful views but not a very long stretch of beach for walks but nice to explore nevertheless."
"This beach has beautiful views and when the tide is out it’s fun to let the kids come and pick up rocks and find tons of little crabs. To the east and to the west are private property lines so the public beach itself is very very small. Beautiful views though. Mainly used to kayak to Sucia Island."
