"Small beach, stinks because of the wastewater treatment plant. It’s got decent views and I’m sure it’s nicer in summer when the tide is lower. No dogs allowed on the beach so be aware of that if you’re walking them."

"Discovery Park beach is a beautiful and serene escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The expansive shoreline offers breathtaking views of the Puget Sound, and the surrounding nature creates a tranquil ambiance. The beach itself is clean and well-maintained, making it a pleasant spot for a leisurely walk or a picnic. My only suggestion for improvement would be to have more facilities and amenities available for visitors, such as restrooms and food options. Nonetheless, Discovery Park beach is a wonderful destination to reconnect with nature and enjoy a peaceful day by the water."

"Was a good hike. We went the long way. Ended up being a three mile hike round trip. The trip was definitely worth it. Most of the hike is shaded and some minor inclines/declines that get the heart rate up. When we got to the actual beach it was calm and very few people went to the section we went to so it was more isolated and calm."
