"Came with a surfer son. If you are a surfer this is probably 4 stars. For me it was ok. There are a number of places to walk: out on a jetty, along horseshoe bay, down to a light house. If you are in the area, stop by. One visit was enough for me. (Unless, of course, I went back with the surfer:-)"
"Walk the beach and catch an amazing sunset here! Right on the Pacific coast with a great view of the bay as well, Westhaven offers one of the best west-facing views in Washington on public land. From the parking lot, all trails lead to the beach. Recently the bathrooms have been closed but port-o-johns are on site. Fishing is a big draw out here; you can often find numerous anglers on the long rocky jetty from sunrise to sunset. Be careful on the jetty and keep an eye on the tides. You'll also see surfers trying the waves, but this is by no means a beach known for its large tides. Olympic Otter"
