Reviews of The Lodge at Peasley Canyon Apartment Homes
"I have lived here going on 5 years. All and all it is a pretty quiet and peaceful complex. They do little things for the residents to show us their appreciation for us choosing their community to live in."
"I have been here for 11 months. I have been waiting for a letter from them to see how much the month-to-month rent will be and I didn't receive it until I have literally less than a month left before my lease ends and they are raising it by over 400 USD. I will not be renewing my lease. This notice was something I should have gotten in mid-December - early January. In addition to that, it is such a gigantic hassle to get anything fixed. It took over 3 months to get a dryer fixed only to ultimately get it replaced by another dryer with different problems. It's a shame because the area is great and the community is generally quiet. I wish that maintenance did a better job and the administration team for this complex would get their act together. If this place is in your radar of looking for a place, look elsewhere. You will thank yourself later."
"We recently moved out. Will never come back here. 1. Management is awful. They can care less about any issues or concerns you have. The manger always hides behind the idiot useless leasing agents in the office. They have the office closed to The public now so good luck on talking to them! They never answer the phone. 2. Maintenance sucks. The fridge broke down months ago and they never replaced it even though I submitted a work order multiple times. 3. Parking is awful. There's no parking. The useless office staff doesn't even manage parking permits they have another company so again good luck with parking issues. 4. Other appliances didn't work and weeks go by before they take their sweet time to look at them. 5. Surprise fees and charges show up on your monthly bill. Management does not care about residents but only about making money. 6. The gate is supposed to be closed and it's wide open. DO NOT MOVE HERE! HORRIBLE PLACE! HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT!"
"I have been in these apartments three months. The price is alright for what it is I suppose. I have issues with this complex though. One thing you will see often is the parking issue, and everything you hear is mostly true, very difficult to find parking after 6:00 PM and you end up paying fairly exorbitant prices for reserved parking. Another thing is the garbage. They do manage it fairly well, granted, but the bins are almost always filled to overfull. The upside is they're spread across the complex, so you don't have to go far to take out your trash :) There's also quite a few homeless in the area, which is a limitation. We haven't had any issues yet, but I would certainly be mindful of your home's security measures. The apartments also aren't constructed well. When we moved in, several panels and our towel rod fell off with very light use. They clearly weren't fixed well, and it took me a bit to get them right. The noise is also pretty bad, not from traffic, but from neighbors. I have a neighbor that is loud every day, between stomping around their house, screaming children and people fighting. I have some concerns about domestic violence and it often interrupts my sleep. Finally, the management office will absolutely nickel and dime you for any reason. They will look for excuses to charge you an arm and a leg more, and they won't even communicate their needs with you until they can charge you for something. I provided proof of renter's insurance when I moved in, but 2 months in, they charged me for not having it, even though I still had the same policy, and showed them my policy. It was pretty upsetting to say the least. In short, the price is alright for the area, but I wouldn't move in here unless you're trying to save money. Be prepared for difficult parking situations, extortionate management, and noisy neighbors without relief. Thanks! Hope this is helpful!"
"I have been here a little over a month and I am presently surprised at how quiet it is. Initially I had an issue with people parking in my reserved space but management handled everything quickly and professionally. The parking situation is becoming better as the tow company now makes frequent trips to catch violators. The permit is cheap compared to other complexes and it takes money for upkeep of the pavement. I understand why the gate is broken given the way some of these folks drive. Not a deal breaker. The dumpsters do get full but I watched a lady drag her trash out in a kiddie pool. Maybe we need a mandatory recycling program because who has that much trash? The pathways need more lighting, especially the sidewalks behind the garages. Management here is great, I don't work on the weekend so why should they? No matter where you live you will encounter people who should be exiled to an island for idiots and this place is no exception. I believe management is doing a wonderful job of expelling said idiots and I look forward to seeing future enhancements. I only gave four stars because the kitchen is small, but I hate cooking anyway."
