"4x4 X-Terior Roofing, Brian was great to work with! Knowledgeable, Professional, dependable and fair. As new owners of our home, we and the inspector missed the issues with the roof. At casual glance the existing roof looks to have some wear but still several years left. We hired Brian to patch a hole left by the removal of a compromised chimney. During the repairs he noticed that the roofing nails were rusting half way down. This meant the existing shingles were defective, likely part of a product recall. There was no rust evidence where the nails were pierced the layer below. Water was penetrating the top layer. There was also evidence of questionable workmanship by whoever installed the last roof. Brian squeezed us into his schedule as we needed the roof replaced prior to a solar array install. I will always be grateful to Brian for noticing a hidden defect and brining it to our attention. It would have been very, very costly to have discovered the defect after the solar panels were installed. I would highly recommend Brian and his team to anyone needing a new roof."
