"I was talked over the whole time i was there. This place would probably work if you are just looking to have your taxes completed and you have no special circumstances. If want a consultation or have any questions, this place is not the right place to go."

"This place is a ripoff. But if you want more details, I have three major complaints about this location and company altogether: 1.) Their tax "specialist" (Janet K.) made the process of filing my taxes as nightmarish and stressful as humanly possible for how easy it should have been. 2.) H&R Block's outrageous prices cost me over 2 years worth of tax returns. The most outrageous thing was that she charged over $200 to process a single 1099 page which only took her 5 minutes! 3.) Janet wasn't transparent at all about these exorbitant prices until near the end of the tax preparation, where I was also undergoing the most fatigue and stress. (Keep in mind as well that I sent the documents she needed the day before, so she most likely had access to this information well before she actually presented me with it. This was definitely intentional!) Using a professional tax preparer shouldn't have been this stressful, they are usually supposed to take the stresses of filing for taxes AWAY. You're definitely better off just doing your own. This was honestly the worst experience I've ever had with any tax preparation throughout the years. H&R Block has thoroughly proven to me that they are dishonest, sneaky, and crooked. They are obviously willing to do whatever it takes to trick you into giving them your hard earned money. Because of this, I can never in good conscience recommend this place to friends or even enemies. Neither will I ever be coming back. The only net positive from this whole experience I can think of is my newfound motivation to learn how to do my own taxes through a different company. I hope that this review serves as a warning to anyone currently thinking about using this service. This won't be happening to me again, and I hope it also doesn't happen to you."

"So I went here to get my taxes done because they hadn't come out like they usually do in the previous years and I thought maybe I had been overlooking something. I sat down and the guy literally told me the same stuff I had easily read online when I was just going to file them myself. So I was like ok, how much is this gonna cost. It would have cost me 155 dollars to file with them and that's not with anything special included. That's just for my regular W2's and state Taxes. And then the guy caught an attitude when I said there was absolutely no way I'm gonna pay 155 dollars when I can literally file online for free and get the same exact results. Absolutely ridiculous."
