"Both of our children attended St. Anthony School from Kindergarten through 8th grade. We feel that our experience as a family and the depth of growth, caring, and learning for our kids is unmeasurable. The school provided a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment along with a strong educational foundation that helped our now high school and college students develop their spirit of independence, quest for knowledge, desire to give back to others and their community along with forming life-long friendships."
"Our children have the privilege to attend to St.Anthony school, two already graduated and two remain at St.Anthony school. For us St.Anthony privides a high level of education, an incredible team of Professional teachers and staff, a Principal-Mr. Cantu that really cares about the whole growth and support about the child. An amazing and very diverse Community with a strong Catholic values and guidance by our St.Anthony Pastor Fr. Jack Shrum. We highly recommend St.Anthony school !!"
"This is my daughter's third year at St. Anthony's, and I am extremely happy with the school, the entire staff, teachers, the education that my daughter is receiving, and the faith and values that are being instilled. And just as important, my daughter loves going to school there and comes home with a smile on her face every day. I highly recommend St. Anthony's to anyone looking for a wonderful and caring staff and a great education for their children!"
"We have been very happy with our experience at St. Anthony's. We have 3 daughters attending the school, all with different needs. The school staff have been diligent in working with us to set our children up for success. Being at St Anthony's, you become part of a larger family. I am proud and thankful for the gifts of education, values, & faith our daughters have been given. Our only disappointment in the school, is the lack of a grass on the playground, but we will keep praying on that."
"The teachers for the most part are not very nice. (With an exception to Mrs. Greenfield, Mrs. Tribble, Mrs. Fredrick who they are now letting go of, Mrs Keefer, Mrs. Varela, Mrs. Lasor, Mrs. Stadmuller, Mr. Pennington, Mr. Bucheit who is not returning next year). If I could do it over again I would not send my kids here. One of my children made good friends and only disliked the teachers the others hated the whole experience. Some of the teachers have been there too long and it apparent in the way they teach and act. Overall the education is good up until about 6th or 7th grade when the teachers would rather stand out in the hallway and talk or play on their phone and hand out a packet. My students' skills were definitely lacking compared to some of their peers who went to different schools in English and History. The final thing I would like to touch on is the Olweus bullying program. From what I hear the only action being taken is having the students recite three rules. Only in one instance was one of my children ever bullied by another student however bullying behavior was demonstrated daily because the students just are not nice to each other and the teachers do not know what is going on. I do not think going to another school would be any different in this area however nothing is being done here to stop or at least improve it. Especially from the counselor ms. Person who none of kids ever felt comfortable talking to."
