All Washed Up Laundromat

"I spent a little over an hour on 2 dryers trying to dry my clothes but the dryer did not have any heat. I switched to 2 other dryers but the same thing happen. Very disappointing"

"Great range of hours open. Usually clean inside. Machinery is older but works. Cost of water in Langley means higher overall cost for laundry facilities, yet is only facility on South Island. Coin exchange machine usually works, have experienced it as 'out of order' twice. Best to bring own quarters just in case. Bathroom outside doesn't lock, is rarely clean, usually out of toilet paper and frequently out of order... Since it's the only laundry facility option available on South Whidbey, I am thankful for it's availability."

"Um, wow. Not a good wow, but overall better than washing your clothes in the shower. I'll start with the pluses. The arcade next door is a great way to spend time while waiting. The outside of the building is very picturesque. It's close to home. Has 2 very comfy chairs that have good back support and are cushiony. Only place to do laundry in the south end of the island. Minuses: Didn't do a great job washing my clothes. There was a, not bad, but not clean smell to them afterwards. The washers were rather expensive and had a small capacity; I couldn't get my full load of laundry in. No staff to assist with any problems you might have. Not very many machines (could easily be overwhelmed in tourist season). I may have given this a better review if I hadn't gone to Dutch Maid Laundry (off of Barrington in Oak Harbor). That one even saved me money after gas costs to get there."

"Small and it is unstaffed, so if there are issues you have to wait for it to be resolved. Also some customers will use it to wash their dog stuff and not clean the hairs from the washers. But other then that, it is a decent place to do laundry."

"I have gone to this laundromat several times. I have found it clean and lots of washing machines available - good sizes to choose from. Once in the past a machine ate up my money and it had do the work. I filled out a note and they sent me my money back. The dryers have worked well for me - very hot and dry like I like it. It has two doors to go inside (so in the summer you have lots of fresh air). I just really like the relaxed atmosphere, big cushy chairs to sit it, magazines to read and friendly people doing their wash. Also now there is a bakery right next door. Yum Yum !! What more can you ask for ??"
