"We had them come out for our primary bedroom and an area rug. It was almost $300. The technician proudly shared that he had never had to come out for a redo when we were talking about the job. Awesome! Who wants to have someone come back out? When he had finished his work he asked me to come see if I was satisfied. I told him that I’d hoped he could get it cleaner. He proceeded to tell me that the oils from my dogs skin came through their beds and that it couldn’t get cleaner than that. When I asked about the area rug, he told me that the enzymes from the outside dirt had stained the rug and there was nothing else he could do. But he would go over it again if it made me feel better: so he did. I did not feel better. And I told him as much. When settling up on the bill, he pointed out the option to tip(not required he said). I was so frustrated and angry after being ‘mansplained’ to that I got my bisell little green machine out and recleaned the areas he had done. I got tank after tank of dirty water out of the same rugs he had just cleaned. I would NEVER recommend Stanley steemer to anyone. And when they messaged to see if I was happy with the job, I told them no and asked for a call back to discuss a solution. They never called. And I did not want the technician to come back after my original experience with him."
