"This vet was recommended by the rescue where I adopted my dog. Took my puppy in for a general check up and to get anxiety medications. The vet was very thorough and found a slight ear infection. They cleaned the ear, put a gel in it, and also sent me home with meds for his anxiety. The medication worked great and my pup is much calmer now. Plan on working with a trainer soon to not have to rely on meds. Glad to have found a reliable vet!"

"We went in for an emergency visit for our poor Kitty and the sweet lady at the desk truly heard what was going on and was compassionate. They were able to see us on such short notice and with no slots left. The doctor was amazing I felt like my cat was in truly great hands. And she helped us accordingly. And everyone was just so nice and compassionate. Will definitely be returning again. You can tell this group of wonderful ladies love what they do ❤️"

"I really like this staff and vets. First thing, my shortest waiting time was 3 hours. Having said that, I could leave and call every hour to check my status in line. People show up in line 1 hour early. They do not overselling products, and the vets are very professional. My dog loves the backend staff, so they must do things with care. The costs are reasonable in the opposite to others in this area."

"I have always had good experiences with the staff and doctors at the Hillsboro, Companion. The wait time is very long but thankfully they let you check in, then leave and call to check when you should come back. Room 4 is a hard room, it’s always soooooo loud with the double swinging doors and the bathroom on the other side it sounds like they are tearing down the building, then if you combine that with a lot of crying or howling dogs and room 4 is like a dogs nightmare! I’m not sure why but 99% of our visits, we always get stuck with room 4! Other than that room, I appreciate the expertise and kind knowledgeable staff. I especially like the front desk ladies, they have soooo much going on, but they are very friendly and will chat it up about their pets and love of animals if you spark up the conversation, that is if they are not swamped. Even though the waits are long, the experienced doctors and staff and the access to walk in appointments keep me coming back and referring others to Companion."
