"My 7 lbs. toy poodle was seen by one of the veterinarians (Dr. Reddy) for a first time routine exam. My dog is typically easy to approach and friendly yet this vet was afraid of my dog (she growled at him) and asked me to hold her the entire time. In fact, he barely performed a minimal examination and had to leave the room to grab his stethoscope yet never really used it. He didn't move her fur away when looking in her ears and was afraid to look in the back of her mouth to look at her back teeth. When I returned home I called the office to ask for the owner's number so I could give them feedback, but I was told to leave my number and they would give it to the owner and have them call me. I never received a call back. When it came time to pay my credit card bill I filed a dispute for the $77 charge, but even then there was no attempt by the owner to follow up with me about my dissatisfaction and the charge was not reversed. I tried to send an email to the email address on the website but that was returned to me as undeliverable. I would appreciate a refund from my 12/21/23 visit, customer #14788 invoice #95042."
"The vet care is personable, appropriate, and reasonably priced. Support staff are professional. I do find it disappointing when you attend regularly for routine care, but get told to go elsewhere when you require more urgent care ( like within a couple days) and you desire the facility you know and trust."
"This place is ok for procedure or shots at a fair price but if you are looking for a reliable vet this is not it. When it comes to paperwork, proper billing, or even treating your pet with kindness, value per clinic is severely lacking. They do not have patience. Both my cat and dog were deemed aggressive and were handled forcibly when we brought them in. We had to change vets for this reason and my pets have had no behavioral issues at other vets. Additionally, when I try to get flea medication, they never have the proper paperwork or paper trail for tests that we’ve done and always decline when I request the medication. This is such a hassle because I double pay for tests and do not get the medication I need on time. In my opinion, this is a last resort option if you cannot find another vet."
"It’s unfortunate how doctor turnover has impacted Value Pet Clinic. The front desk staff is very kind and patient, but Dr Reddy is by far the worst veterinarian I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. Thankfully I was given a refund as he was not able to help at all. I went seeking end of life care after exhausting all other options for my senior dog, and he simply referred me to options I had already actioned on (not only that, he couldn’t remember the name of where he wanted to refer me - let alone the individual - so clearly it was not based on experience or genuine care) and then refused to help. It was clear that my dog is not the first animal to not receive the care that should have been given, so I hope they reevaluate their standards. I would highly urge folks to go elsewhere in the meantime."
"My 10 year old cat, foxy, was attacked by raccoon in December of 2022. She was bit on the leg and scratched on the eye. At first, her eye was swelling shut and I was worried it was becoming infected. I took her to Bellevue Pet Clinic and they gave her antibiotic eye drops and instructed us to continue to treat her twice a day for a week. Her eye was beginning to open and things were looking up! Then a week later, foxy began to limp. That is when I noticed that she had a bite on her leg that had began to pus and bleed (it’s almost like it worsened overnight). No other clinic could take her on such short notice and I knew that she had to be seen ASAP due to her behavior (isolating herself, limited movement) and the fact that she would not stop licking her wound. I was shocked to see how fast everything started to go downhill. The day of her original visit, there was no visible wound so it must have gotten infected and swelled. I called Bellevue Value Pet Clinic immediately and they got me in the same day. They cleaned her wound and told me she would need surgery ASAP. They performed surgery on her leg the next morning. All the staff were very kind to me considering how scared I was for my baby. The prices were reasonable and DEFINITELY less expensive in contrast to other pet clinics. She had several visits after (bandage changes) and she was recovering so well! Foxy gets nervous and anxious when at the vet, but they treated her so well and the care for her by the staff was heartwarming! I love how the staff at this clinic genuinely love and care for their furry friends unlike other clinics who just see these animals as nothing more than a check. This was definitely the worst scare I’ve had regarding my cat and I am so so thankful for the vets and staff that helped her along the way. She is back to her cuddly and lovable self now and I have this clinic to thank! I will leave photos of foxy in her first couple days since she was hurt and a photo of her now! Again, thank you x1000 to the staff at Bellevue Vet Clinic!!"
