"Be careful! I paid $400 while I was initially quoted $80 for tax prep. H&R Block has "No Surprise Guarantee". But this store does not practice/honor it. Once I brought it up, the store manager categorically denied it. The guarantee says: "For Assisted Clients, you’ll always know the price before we begin your tax prep." This is COMPLETELY opposite of my experience. And once I complained about it, I was insulted by the store manager and one of the employees. Please be aware that as the customer you have right to know how much the service will cost you beforehand. Do not let them put you in a situation where you feel obligated to pay an outrageous fee."

"Was not a good experience she had to call to get questions answered and was owing money for the first time in 3 years. Need to see an accountant vs h and r block. Feel like they would be more knowledgeable and thorough."

"Charged me close to $400 just for 3 child tax credits, & a ca return. He stated I was going to get charged $189 the 1st time I came in the office, then said for me to come back the following week so he can figure out the best way to file for me. He filed my return & charged me TRIPLE THE PRICE he said he would charge the 2nd time I came in the office. I wish he didn't lie to me about only it being $189."
