"As the result of a roof leak, we had extensive black mold in the ceiling, main support beam, and wall of our garage. A friend recommended AdvantaClean, so I called and scheduled an inspection. The tip I received from friends & family was to make sure to get a technician from a company with a physical address, an up-to-date website, and plenty of good reviews online. We didn't know much about mold besides what our home inspector told us. Jacob checked the area of concern with a tool that checks for moisture (mold needs continued moisture to live and grow) and checked behind the water heater to physically check the drywall by hand as well (no warping and surface mold came off with a light scrape). And his recommendation was no drywall removal was needed; just needed some good old hydrogen peroxide to remove the surface bacteria and mold.
