"Not sure how into the weeds to go, here. Poor instructions from the start: “set up your profile on the portal and upload your documents.” Done. Then silence for weeks and weeks. An email the night of tax day- “I don’t have your SS number!! so now I have to file an extension!” (I’d like to point out here that my SS number WAS there as part of my profile.. not sure how else I was supposed to supply it, and there were no instructions to do so..?). Anyway, silence for weeks and weeks. Call? No answer. Voicemail? No callback. Email? No reply. Have you filed? Is there a fee? Any update? Hello?? I even tried reaching out to one of the other accountants at the company to see about taking over my taxes.. I never heard back. BUT call and say you’re a new client? Bingo! For anyone reading this: that’s how you get someone on the phone at Sound NW, lie and say you're a potential new client. Anyway, it was a truly terrible, maddening, months-long experience from start to finish. Would advise anyone looking for a tax service to avoid Sound NW."

"I had the same poor experience as other recent reviews: non-responsive employees (that took multiple months to follow up on) that resulted in my tax return being late and incurring fines. Totally disengaged, took multiple emails to get a response, and seemingly didn't care about keeping me as a customer. If you need someone proactive, professional, and that sincerely cares about their customers, go somewhere else."
"I had a really difficult experience working with Vicky - she would take weeks to respond to simple questions, and I had to point out things she had missed multiple times that changed the financial outcome of my tax return. I expressed my disappointment in her service but never received any acknowledgement of those issues. I took more than 2 months to complete my return only because she was completely unresponsive. Do not recommend."
