"Never filing here again! I calculated my refund online with turbo tax first but got nervous about whether or not I was doing it correctly so I went to H&R block on Lewis main. They had my paperwork for about a month after stating they would only need a few days. I called a couple of weeks back to check in and see if they were done calculating everything and I was told that it was done and they would call back same day. They never did. From then on I had to call every other day for two weeks until I got an appointment. My husband and I went in today to be told it's the same amount that I calculated and that it would cost $285 for them to file. We walked out. Absolutely horrible customer service!"

"Courtney McAninch is very unreliable irresponsible and unprofessional. She did our tax amendment, and was supposed to fax it to a certain State's Dept of Revenue (DR), but we kept receiving letters from DR,indicating that nothing has changed. We called H&R,their receptionist just told us to wait more. After another letter from DR, we went to H&R personally speak to Courtney, left her mine and my husband's phone numbers and both emails. She promised to find out what was going on and call us back. She never contacted us. My husband went back to H&R and she told him that she tried to contact us, but couldn't reach us. 4 different ways to contact us! And she couldn't reach us. Sounds ridiculous. I called DR myself and they told me they never received the amended tax form. Overall, the whole experience was pretty stressful and disappointing."

"So my husband and I filed here last year. Paid a lot to get it done, I know we had been late because we had been in the process of moving from WV to here and that we had taxes from WV and from the military. We paid for that and I'm not upset about that. But somehow, we owe WV money and so we have to pay that out. I just another recieved another letter about it after I thought that fixed the issue. I just don't understand how that's possible if they did everything correctly. Definitely not going to be returning here."
