"Last week my husband and I filed for the first time with Pepper. I do not recommend seeing her at all! As soon as we sat down and told her what we were there for she gave nothing but attitude and was really making my husband and I very uncomfortable for our first time filing. Talking down to us making us feel stupid for not understanding something. We almost just walked out and came another time with anyone else, but taxes were getting close to the deadline so we needed to stay. She did eventually say “Sorry if I’m coming across as rude” or something along those lines acknowledging she was acting unprofessional, but it was right after my husband started getting upset at her approach towards us. In conclusion, I would NOT recommend seeing Pepper unless you want hassle and attitude. Extremely disrespectful and condescending definitely not welcoming at all. H&R needs to do a employee review on her or something because the past reviews I’ve seen for here in particular are complaints specifically about Pepper."

"I was referred to Pepper by my sister who said she was very helpful and professional, that was not the case with me. Pretty much had the opposite experience, Pepper seemed uninterested in helping me and talked down to me like I was stupid. Ended up leaving and filing on my own. I was missing a document I couldn’t access and I was going to say I’ll reschedule, before I could she through her hand up and said “have a good day” mockingly. Not sure if I caught her on a bad day, but definitely wouldn’t recommend"

"Although most Americans know what H&R Block is, it's a large tax preparation company for the people who do not know. For that said, we have had great luck using their services; our taxes sometimes can be more on the complicated side, so we always go with Jim Callahan. Jim is a Master Tax Advisor, Enrolled Agent; he has a charming personality and a good sense of humor, especially being a "numbers" man, no pun intended to accountants. Jim is a very busy man; not only does he prepare taxes, but I believe he's also an instructor, so if you need an exceptional tax person, I'd recommend Jim, but get that appointment set because he may be several weeks out. H&R Block is neighbors with Peters Kitchen, Green Garden Pho, Kaiser Permanente Eye Care, Chucky Cheese, and Naturally four paws, to name a few. Parking is no problem; there are plenty of spaces for these shared businesses. Another location off-season is in the Kitsap Mall 10315 Silverdale Way NW, Silverdale, Washington.
