Reviews of Sadie Veterinary Urgent Care
"Sadie Urgent Care was wonderful when we had to bring our kitten in for a neuter complication (split incision). The front desk staff communicated clearly and empathetically—they asked for photos of the injury, and gave us accurate, instant information about their ability to work our boy in. The techs and vet at Sadie again communicated well, and patched our kitten up for a very reasonable cost for weekend urgent care. Given that our cat needed urgent attention but was medically stable, urgent care was a much better fit for this issue than an ER (where we would have waited much longer as all critical cases would have gone first). I feel much better about my cats’ medical care now that I know I have a good urgent care option for any weekend medical issues."
"This place is amazing and full of folks that care and love our fur families! I brought my cat, Charlie, due to lethargy, loss of appetite (extremely rare for her), frequent vomiting. The front desk ladies were very responsive and helped me get a same day appointment! Dr. Grubb and the vet tech staff were amazing with Charlie!! They cared for her and gave recommendations that had Charlie feeling better and acting like herself by the next day. Charlie needed an X-ray, bloodwork, fluid shot, anti nausea shot, and prescription bland food. The bill was $800. This is a lot for me but it is a lot lower than historical vet visits to mobile vets and the VCA that would charge $1000-1400 for the same treatments. Couldn't recommend these folks!!"
"This was our first visit, and a very sad day as I was sending my SUPER elderly cat (18-19ish) over the rainbow bridge. I cannot say enough good things. We didn’t wait long, Dr. Galbreath was SO GENTLE and I was so grateful she only poked him once to hit the vein. The girl at the front desk (one wearing a mask) that helped check us out was also very sweet and patient as I was indecisive on cremation. Awesome place. Thank you very much."
"This establishment is great. We've had to take our cat here two times. The first time happened when I was wrapping presents. I didn't think that he ate much of the ribbon, but decided to call anyways. They highly suggested that I come in. I'm glad they recommended the idea. They induced vomiting and it turned out he ate a large amount of ribbon. Without going in, he could've had the ribbon tie up his intestines. It was a bit costly, which I can understand, but our cat was back to normal within a couple of hours. Unfortunately, I didn't learn from my first visit and left a box with a large ribbon on the shelf. This ribbon was much larger than the last one. I couldn't remember if I already had taken it off or not, but after coming here for a 2nd time, it turns out he did eat. Great staff and doctors, I hope I don't have to come in again, but highly recommend them to those with sickly animals or ones that keep eating ribbon."
"Had to bring my pup in after a couple days of vomiting and nausea, when he began refusing food. We were worried about several potential causes/contributing factors. The staff here is wonderful, very knowledgeable and kind. They communicate effectively and thoroughly, and made sure Archie was respected and as comfortable as possible in a stressful environment. As someone who works in vet med, I’ve heard a multitude of varying experiences at different U/C and ER places, and am so glad Sadie Vet lived up to and exceeded my expectations. Dr. Galbreath and Kyla deserve all the praise (as well as the rest of the team for everything they do). Thank you all❤️"
