"If you have recently sold a home, this is not the tax preparer for you. They tried to tell my mom she had to pay taxes on the home she sold because they would not allow a deduction for improvements made to the home over the 35 years she owned it despite IRS Publication 523 stating that improvements are deductible. This mistake would have saddled her with a $10k tax bill. P.S. I called the # in the business' response below, and their customer care team had no idea and literally did not even try to help. You should not bother responding to every review with a phone # if nobody there can help."

"Did a great job was able to squeeze me in fast and very patient and helpful. I had a quick appointment in the middle of our appointment and they let me step outside and do my other appointment. Came back in and she was done with my appointment. She was patient with my kids and made sure they were comfortable as well. I've been going to Jackson hewitt for awhile. Love the customer service."
